Ministries The Ecumenical Community Center provides low-cost office space to other non-profits, to help them reserve their scarce funding to help the community. Directly below you will find information about the ministries that the ECC is directly involved in, and then an alphabetical listing of all the ministries that currently have space at the ECC, along with their details and contact information (if it has been provided). Helping Hands Ministry... HHM provides people with limited material assistance on an emergency basis, helping with rent, utilities, and / or supportive services and advocacy. CompuPlace... CompuPlace is a one-of-a-kind computer based learning center for people with disabilities. Agency Housing... ECC provides low-cost office space to other non-profit agencies and businesses. They provide low-cost housing for individuals who desire to become self-sufficient. Below are all of the ministries that are currently housed in the Ecumenical Center. The Fomon Infant Nutrition Unit of the Department of Pediatrics of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) has been conducting nutrituion studies of normal and premature infants for almost 50 years. The Unit is committeed to the improvement of nutritional management of infants through scientific investigation and education. The Unit trains pediatricians and nutritionists from around the world in pediatric research.
