About Us The Ecumenical Community Center (ECC) was founded in 1994 by a task force of churches located along Third Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. It became incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1995. Created with a vision to provide better community living, the ECC offers services to people throughout Linn county. ECC is supported almost exclusively by donations, making your gifts vital to the success of our help! The ECC has 501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the IRS, so your contributions are tax deductible. Cutbacks in government programs has greatly increased the demand for the ECC's services and therefore your gracious support! The programs of the ECC are available to everyone. We house nearly a dozen different ministries in our building, including: Helping Hands, Narcotics Anonymous, CompuPlace, etc. We are also associated with Margaret Bock Housing. We organized with a vision of serving the surrounding area. Please partner with us as we try to help those in need and show them that they are not alone- someone cares. Office Space For Rent The ECC currently has space for rent for local agencies / businesses.
